New Blog & Lazyness

Sorry about how half-assy my last blog was on here. I was really exited to start that new blog. The first post went really well, so I'm going to do weekly posts about different subjects. The first was "The Attention Seeker". That went very well. Within the last day, I have went from 0 to 37 pageveiws. I know that's not a lot, but for me, in one day, that's amazing. I really want to word to get out. Check it out yourself:

On to the second subject!
I have been somewhat lazy on here. I was going on one of my anti-internet hiatuses where I just check FB for like, 2.7 seconds and get away from the computer. But since I started that last blog and am pairing all my photography from it and not just Googling some random images for my posts, I am starting to get very passionate about it.

Passionate about a blog? I know, sounds stupid, but I really want people to think, and that's what that blog is all about.

In other lazy news, I have been postponing the constant light setup because I don't have so much time anymore. However, my city is being bombarded by tornados pretty much weekly, so I will probably have more time for it. You know, being the art area is my basement.

One last thing: Mitchell and I are doing great! He got a job at the local grocery store and is doing very well at it. Sure, we can't hang out as much as we want, but it just means that any time we do get together, it's all the more special.

Okay, well, I think I'm about done. I'm not being lazy, I promise, I'm just out of things to talk about.

Small Changes & Recent Times

I have decided that I'm going to treat my Blogger a little less selfishly. I won't be posting what I usually do as often, but I will be trying to spread the word of concerns crossing all different kinds of people. I'm sure there are plenty blogs like this, but I feel like my opinion at least should be heard.

I will still be posting on this one like I already do. This will be my "personal blog". This new blog will look, feel, and be almost identical to this one, but will have a lot more serious points. But we will see how this turns out. Check it out:

On to recent news!
I had my birthday party and it was fabulous! I have been getting more into my photography thanks to my constant lights and Spring Fever.

Okay, this post is a little more boring, so I'm sorry. I will post again soon to make up for it! Thanks!

Florida & Urgent News

As I said in the last blog, I am going to Florida! Not with the school band like everyone else is, but with my wonderful boyfriend, Mitchell. For one, I will be with him for a week. Second, It's cheaper by like,
______(insert ridiculous amount here)_____!

I know, it sounds great! There's only one slight set back. My mother and I are very close, and this is the first time I will be really far from her. She's all for it (as am I) since I'm a sophomore and will be off to college in a few years and thinks it will be good for me. So, I'm going for it!

I'm really excited, not going to lie. I've heard that Florida is beautiful. I've been there, but I can't really remember it since I was little at the time. We're going to Destin, Florida. Land of white beaches and clear blue oceans (salt water, ehk!).

I think that this is going to b
e really fun.

Okay, on to the urgent
news! Are you ready?
I don't have to have surgery anymore! Well, unless I hurt myself in the same way. I'm so happy, you have no idea! No needles, no incisions, no more being scared! I know that He's looking out for me in one way or another.

In other news, nothing big has been going on lately. My birthday is coming up soon! And my party the day before that. I will blog about what will happen there either right before or after the party. Mitchell and my seven-month is on the 21st, this upcoming Monday. I'm also spending the weekend with him in Missouri! Watch my tweets and I'll update you about everything!

Alright, I think it's time to wrap up this blog.

Neglected Internet & Skiing Accident

I'm sorry for not posting often. At all. At first it was because of the whole, "internet for boring thing", but then the reason after that was because I was stuck in a recliner just about 7 feet from the computer) because I had a skiing accident, which I will explain soon enough.
I just updated my DailyBooth for the first time online in about a month; I've barely been on Facebook, and I'm still neglecting Tumblr (Blogger's way better). However, I've been updating my Twitter via Mobile, so you should know what I'm up to.

Okay, onto what I did while skiing. I'm not going to go into the story, because it's terrible to remember. But in the end, I tore my ACL and partially tore my MCL. So, MCL is healing on it's own, but right after my birthday (March 27th), I'm getting reconstructive surgery on my ACL.

I'll be bed-ridden again for about 2 weeks then go back to school. One month after my surgery, I will be able to put weight on it. Two months after the surgery, I will be walking without the brace and crutches! Three-Four Months after surgery, I can run, squat, do whatever again!

So, about 5 months and I'll be back to normal. Just in time for Florida with Mitchell (details will be in my next post) and Marching season!

What I've been up to lately:
You've heard most of it, but here's some more. Mitchell and I just had our half-year about two weeks ago, and we're just as happy together, if not more, than the last post. He makes me so incredibly happy all the time! I love him dearly. He got his licence a few weeks ago too! I'm very proud of him! I've also been playing with the Panorama on my P90 a bit. My birthday's coming up soon, so I have chosen for my "big present" not a laptop, or a new TV, but a set of nice constant photography lights. So excited!

Alright, everyone, I'm going to get going now! Imo's Pizza with Mitchell & my mother. It's my cheat day off my low-carb diet.
I have a treat for you this week:

DailyBooth & Apologies

First off, the second subject! I am very sorry for not posting as "weekly" as I usually do. I seem to be around a week late. I've just been very busy when I'm not lazy, and lazy when I'm not busy. I just haven't really been around. Also I've been reading that book I blogged about last time. I finished it in less than a week. Bleh.

So, I was introduced to this awesome place called DailyBooth. I am aware it has been around for a long while. But I just discovered it for myself. I think I fell in lust with this site. See that picture to the right of my introduction of myself? That's my current picture. Make a DB or follow me on yours by clicking on that picture. I'd appreciate it!

I didn't realize how short my subjects were,
so I'm going to just go on about my day, I suppose...

Well, I woke up, then I went to church. Afterward, I went to my grandparents house and ate some breakfast, then drove around with my mother and my dog, Rufus for about an hour and a half. I then later attempted to eat, failed at it, and then began on my quest for food. After a vegetarian-made chicken parmesan, I went on a magical journey with Sir Caleb Fulton and Madam Eva-Jo Adams. I am home now.

If you noticed that I didn't mention Mitchell, do not fret. We are doing positively fine (I am going to stop talking like that now; I'm annoying myself). Actually, we are doing more than "just fine", we are doing amazingly. Our 5-month is coming up soon, actually. I am so happy with him ♥.

Alrighty, time to wrap this up.
Let's grab a rubber and find a ditch.

Until Next time, enjoy the

New Years & Photography

Happy New Years! I hope everyone had a fun time last night! It's hard to believe that 2010 already over, but as I said in my last post, everyone get's hit with the "New Years REVElation" at sometime sooner or later. I agree with my boyfriend's tweet, to be quite honest:

"Okay, a new year, feels the same to me, all this new year is
going to do is confuse me when I write the date,"

Yeah, I think all of us have this problem for at least a little while. I know I'm normally affected for at least two months. Speaking of getting used to things, I have been falling asleep at 5AM almost every night for the last week. I'm going to have to get out of that bad habit since school is just three days away. I am beyond disappointed. Yes, I knew it was coming. Yes, we had almost a whole month off on break (literally). And Yes, I am enjoying it so much! But school has to go on sometime. Gah.

I'm not going to go into to much detail of what I did for New Years. One thing I will definitely point out: I STAYED SOBER. I don't drink and I have never smoked anything in my life. But on to the original subject, I went to First Night STL with my mother and Mitchell for a little while, and then stayed the night at a friend's house with him. At Midnight, we celebrated with fireworks and sparkling wine for the kids. We all fell asleep and/or passed out around five-thirty (naturally, ha-ha). We all woke up at around noon to have breakfast, but I had to wake Mitchell up to have him eat breakfast earlier, just in case. After seeing if he already ate breakfast, I gave him a kiss and went back to bed with the other three girls all sharing couches in the living room: crowded, but comfortable.

Yes, Mitchell was my New Years Kiss, as I was his.
so all of New Years Eve and Day was pretty fun ♥.

Onto yet another subject, even though this one is completely irrelevant to the first subject, New Years. This has been bothering me for quite a while. Since it has been cold, I have not been able to take any pictures. You see, I am very into my photography and art. I honestly want to make it one of my careers that I carry on throughout my life. But it has been so cold lately, I can't go outside to get any good pictures. Here are some to look at (also on Facebook):

I need to BUCK IT UP.
( which I plan on doing )

So I even with my lack of sleep, I have still been fairly awake and attentive. Really, the only bad part about it is that I wake up at around noon everyday. Like, right now, for instance. It's 11:00PM and I'm still pretty awake. But I suppose it's all about training your internal clock. I have to work on it, but it's my own fault I'm in this predicament. Ah well, I will live. I still have three days, right? I think I'm going to finish up this blog now. See ya in a week, baii ♥.

Feel free to steal and tag your friends on Facebook, or the dreaded (extinct) Myspace. I have no problem whatsoever. There's someone that asked for a special mention in this blog, so here it is:

Cody Buckingham.
That is all.
